Founded in 1904 by the Ursulines, the School of Arts and Sciences of the College of New Rochelle is located on a tranquil campus in the heart of New Rochelle, 30 minutes from Grand Central Station in midtown Manhattan. The School offers women a challenging liberal arts curriculum, as well as several professional and pre-professional programs. Small class sizes allow students to work closely with talented faculty involved in cutting-edge research.

Among the ways SAS honors its Catholic heritage is through a curriculum emphasizing empowerment of the individual, self-reflection and a commitment to social justice and service. The College creates a second home for its students, where faculty, administration and peers recognize them by name. A walk around campus reveals beautiful grounds, historic buildings, and a state-of-the-art library--a perfect place for students to critically engage their world.
