Transfer students should complete 24 or more credits in the bioscience courses prior to applying to the program. Students do not need to complete ALL prerequisites to apply as a transfer student or as a second degree for the individualized track. (Students applying to the second degree accelerated track must complete ALL prerequisites before the start of the program)

Concepts in Biology - 3 cr. (Replacement credit may be granted if the applicant transfers in with Anatomy & Physiology I & II completed)
Anatomy and Physiology I - 4 cr.
Anatomy and Physiology II – 4 cr.
General Chemistry – 4 cr.
Nutrition – 3 cr.
Microbiology – 3 cr. (This is a co-requisite that can be taken contemporaneously with nursing courses.)
Human and Social Analysis - 9 credits
General Psychology – 3 cr.
Developmental Psychology – 3 cr. (This must include the lifespan)
Introduction to Sociology – 3 cr.
Communication - 9 credits
Writer’s Workshop (English Composition I) – 3 cr.
Critical Essay (English Composition II) – 3 cr.
Computer Applications - 3 cr. (This is a co-requisite that can be taken contemporaneously with nursing courses.)
Logical Thinking - 6 credits
College Math - 3 cr. (Algebra/Trig, pre-calculus or calculus)
Statistics – 3 cr. (This is a co-requisite that can be taken contemporaneously with nursing courses)
