Special Education
Practicum Supervisors
The Graduate School seeks adjunct faculty to serve as Special Education
Practicum Supervisors for the Fall 2008 term.
The Practicum Supervisors will observe, monitor and evaluate students
enrolled in Early Childhood and Childhood Special Education
programs. Travel to school sites throughout the five boroughs of
NYC is required. Qualified individuals should, at a minimum, have a
Master’s degree in Special Education, Childhood Education, or Early
Childhood Education; 3-5 years’ classroom teaching experience; and
experience in supervising student teachers, education administration,
and knowledge of school systems.
The College of New Rochelle is a Catholic college in the Ursuline

located on a beautiful suburban campus 16 miles north of midtown
Manhattan and easily accessible by public transportation. The

The
College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.
Today,
it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three
schools
which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult
learners),
the School of Nursing and the Graduate School. The main campus of
the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of
New York City. The College maintains five other campus locations
in New York
City.
