New Director At The College of New Rochelle Co-op City Campus, Dr. Arleen Hogan Heads School of New Resources Campus in the Bronx
Dr. Arleen Hogan has been appointed as Campus Director of The College of New Rochelle School of New Resources Co-op City Campus. Dr. Hogan succeeds Dr. Kristine D’Onofrio Southard.
Dr. Hogan first came to the School of New Resources Co-op City Campus as an adjunct in the spring of 2003. By the summer of 2004, she was enthusiastically recommended for a position as a member of the Instructional Staff Team, Co-op City Campus, in the area of Psychology. Since then, she has become a vital member of Co-op’s administrative team, all the while maintaining a strong commitment to the academic excellence of her students and upholding the tenets of student centeredness. Included in her many contributions to the campus and to the School is her outstanding service on the Curriculum Committee.
A strong advocate for adult learners, she earned a B.S. in Psychology from Fordham University, an M.S. in General Psychology from NYU, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from The New School.
Of her appointment as Director, Dr. Hogan says, “I am thrilled to embark on my new role as Director of the Co-op City Campus of The College of New Rochelle School of New Resources. As an instructional staff member in psychology at the campus for eight years, I enjoyed teaching courses and providing academic advisement; now I look forward to being able to do even more to assist our students in my new capacity. Moreover, as my family has lived in the Bronx for just about a hundred and fifty years, I couldn’t be happier to help my own Bronx neighbors achieve their academic goals here at The College of New Rochelle.”
