A Successful Run for CNR Drama's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'

CNR Drama's production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" enjoyed a successful run at Romita Auditorium April 12 to 21.

The play tells the story of mismatched lovers, magic in the woods, and the difficulties faced by those who find themselves in love. Directed by Laurie Peterson Castaldo set the action in the early 19th century, using a luscious musical score and more than a dozen dancing fairies in fanciful costumes.

Regina Alvarado SAS'14 and Amelia Ellis SAS'13 played young friends Hermia and Helena, who venture into the woods with their suitors Lysander and Demetrius, portrayed by Evan Shaw and Alejandro Funes.
