CNR Presents Portraits by Terry Eppridge at Mooney Center
The College of New Rochelle will present the recent works of artist Terry Eppridge in the Mooney Center Gallery on the Main Campus from May 18 to June 10.
The show "As I Saw Them" will feature 25 portraits painted over the past five years.
Eppridge, a graduate of The College of New Rochelle, studied as an undergraduate under the legendary Professors Ernest and Florence Thompson, co-founders of the Art Department at CNR. She went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from The Catholic University of America and to have her own career as a teacher of art at all levels, including teaching at The College of New Rochelle.
As a painter, calligrapher, and graphic artist, she has undertaken post-graduate study at Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts, the Art Students League as well as at Silvermine School of Art and with the Greenwich Art Society Studio School. She is an active member of the Greenwich Art Society and of the Art Society of Old Greenwich.
Two receptions are scheduled for this exhibit: June 1, from 3 to 5 p.m.,
and June 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. The Mooney Center Gallery is free and open
to the public.
