Service is an essential part of who we are as community. Faculty, staff, students, and alumnae/i are invited to take part in service activities coordinated by the Office of Campus Ministry.
The College's ninth annual Community Service Day took place on April 8, 2014.
Last year, The College of New Rochelle hosted members of the Special Olympics from the Hudson Valley Public School Sports League (PSSL) on the New Rochelle campus. The PSSL is a consortium of middle and high schools from Westchester and Putnam counties.
CNR's NYC campuses coordinated activities with their local communities. The Brooklyn campus collected over 300 books for Little Sun People Day Care. The South Bronx campus hosted senior citizens for lunch and entertainment. The DC-37 campus in lower Manhattan collected school supplies for school children living in homeless shelters. The Rosa Parks campus in Harlem and the Co-op City campus in the Bronx collected needed food supplies for domestic violence shelters.
