Residence Halls

The College of New Rochelle has four residence halls, all non-smoking, that house an average of 120 students per building, in a variety of living arrangements. Most rooms at CNR are doubles, but there are some singles and a few triples available. The rooms come equipped with a desk, chair, dresser, bed, and closet for each student.

Students, bringing their own sense of fashion and personality, are encouraged to decorate and personalize their rooms. While no two rooms are alike, click here to get a sense of what some of the rooms looks like.

Community living is an important aspect of residence life at the College. Each residence hall has community living rooms and spaces that foster group study, social exchange, and a variety of programming.  Recreational equipment is available upon request from the staff office of each residence hall.  In addition, CNR offers Living-Learning/Special Interest Housing communities that unite students with similar interests.

Residents move in the weekend before classes begin in September and must move out after their last final exam in May.  There are several vacation breaks that occur throughout the academic year, during which residents are required to vacate their rooms.
