Housing is provided for undergraduate students in the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Nursing for the academic year.  As a CNR resident student, you will be a member of a community of people – students, faculty, and staff – learning and growing together

The Student Development staff aims to promote a lively and engaging campus community.  We believe housing means more than having a roof over your head. Residence life has a concrete educational value. Our staff will expose you to a variety of educational, cultural and personal growth experiences that will accomplish the following goals

  • Expose you to new ideas, values, and cultures,
  • Help connect your in and out-of-class experiences,
  • Help you understand, accept and function with interpersonal and cultural differences,
  • Encourage the development of leadership, management, and interpersonal skills,
  • Help you take advantage of the educational resources at CNR and in the surrounding community,
  • Encourage your personal growth and awareness, and to support the development of a sense of community in the residence halls.
