At The College of New Rochelle, we recognize that every student’s needs are different. That is why we have created distinct orientation programs to best serve the needs of our New York campus's diverse population. All new students to the College are expected to attend an orientation session.
Incoming freshmen attend a Jump Start to Orientation session hosted by the Office of Student Development in July. This allows students to register for classes and handle other important business prior to their arrival in the Fall. Orientation is designed to prepare new students, both residents and commuters, for their four-year journey at our New York college. Orientation takes place in September right before the semester begins. Please click here for more information regarding Freshman Student Orientation and to register for your session.
Transfer students attend a one-day orientation session that will allow you to familiarize yourself with CNR’s resources. We understand that transfer students already bring a wealth of knowledge with them. Therefore, jumpstart to orientation is designed to specifically introduce you to the unique offerings of our New York college. Please click here for a schedule of the day's events and to register for one of the sessions.
Second degree nursing students attend a one-day orientation session that will allow you to network with faculty and staff and learn about our New York campus's resources. Please call (914) 654-5316 to register for one of the sessions TODAY. Please click on the appropriate date for a schedule of that day's events.
