The College of New Rochelle is committed to making a high quality education affordable.  Gifts and grants received through the generosity of alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations play a significant part in reducing this difference.  The summary of charges for the 2007-2008 academic year for the School of Arts and Sciences follows:

Room & Board Charge
The Room & Board fee entitles the student to a double room equipped with basic cable service and telephone service and a Resident Food Card. 

A limited number of single rooms are available for an additional charge of $400 per semester. 

A damage deposit of $100 is required of all resident students.

Residence Halls are officially closed during the Thanksgiving recess, from the end of Fall semester examinations through New Year's, and from Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday.  During other vacation periods, on-campus accommodations may be available for an additional charge. 

The Resident Food Card entitles the student to $1,000 in food-related purchases during the semester.  Resident Food Card balances may not be carried forward at the end of a semester. 

Books & Supplies
Books and Supplies are estimated to cost $300 per semester for students taking a full-time course load
