COMPLETING THE FAFSA

To apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and send it to the Federal Student Aid Programs office of the U.S. Department of Education.  Please note that:
  • To complete the FAFSA, please have your and your parents' 2000 Federal Income Tax and W-2 forms handy (if they are complete).

  • The FAFSA takes four days for processing.

  • You will receive an "Information Acknowledgement" once the FAFSA is processed, which you must check for corrections.

  • You must list The College of New Rochelle's Title IV Code, "002704," in Section H of the FAFSA for The College of New Rochelle to receive your data
You have two options for completing the FAFSA:
  1. Complete the FAFSA on the Web.
  2. Complete the paper FAFSA, which may be obtained by contacting the College's Financial Aid Office at (914) 654-5434, or by calling 1-800-4-FEDAID.  Submit the completed FAFSA to the Financial Aid Office.
